things to expect from me––

Okay, I'm starting to get my headspace around Newgrounds on better footing... Took me a solid few days. And now that I'm on Spring Break, I'll have more time online to work on stuff I want to, and to hopefully share them with y'all.

Before I do any of that, though, I do see it imperative to at least give a roadmap of what I'll be doing...!

So what's going on?

To explain bluntly, much of my hobby is revolving around a cool personal project I'm working on, called Project Amikiro. This is an ambitious project that includes game development, world building, and film making! It's very ambitious, and one I want to to eventually be standalone. So, with some preperations for that, I'll be splitting my posted work onto two Newgrounds accounts--

My personal account (Cliff Ricks) would be my everyday account where I post cool snippets, updates, and some developer commentary of stuff I've worked on. I'll also upload finished assets via this account.

※ RockiCwiffFyre

Things pertaining specifically to the Project Amikiro universe and other more... refined developments will be posted onto the RockiCwiffFyre account (that I just now made). Things like finished cinematics, picture vignettes, Project Amikiro lore, and stuff alike would be posted there.

Why split my load onto two seperate accounts?

I want to segregate my personal stuff and my more "professional" things, really. Though i could post my professional works on this account, I at least want to plan ahead in case Project Amikiro may grow without me. I'll still have polished and finished things posted on my account, but anything that is of more use for Project Amikiro or other large projects, I'll post on RockiCwiffFyre. This is the same arrangement I have with my YouTube accounts (Cwiffy and RockiCwiffFyre Studios)

If I'm making some stuff just to mess around, it'd obviously go onto this account as it's a personal work. If I made an asset for Project Amikiro, though, I'll post it on here just to showcase it as an individual asset, and possibly talk about how it was developed. Like a sort of developer's commentary on the stuff I made. But if I make something like a whole cinematic using the asset, or if I want to post lore for the asset within the Project Amikiro universe, I'd stick that onto the RockiCwiffFyre account.

For example if I make a cool gun, I'd more likely post WIP blog updates on this account, and post it into the art portal via this account once I'm done. But then if I want to make a blog post about the in-universe lore about the gun, then I'll post it on RockiCwiffFyre.

So to sum up:

Stuff that pertains more towards the projects I'm working on will go onto RockiCwiffFyre; Stuff that I talk about with a personal lens goes on this account.

Got it?

epic.

I just wanted to lay that out clearly — both for who ever was sad enough to pay attention to my account, and for myself who forgot what I had for breakfast this morning.

Anyways, thanks for reading. Hope y'all understood that to some extent at least...
